GCC and Glos NHS Legal Dept. underhand tactics.

I’m hopeful that this dastardly ‘tactic’ by Cheltenham Hospital and local authority, once I’ve shown the court of protection Judge my evidence, that a full and thorough investigation will be ordered, and if it is, the poo will hit the fan and there will be a lot of trembling knees.
She recently had a four week admission (27/12/18 to 26/01/19) in Cheltenham General Hospital (reoccurring sepsis due to an uninvestigated, and untreated condition since 2015).
From the second day (and for the following four weeks) I felt it necessary to raise concerns about continuous unexplained bruising, change of behaviour and extremely poor ‘personal’ care, so bad that it even led to bleeding from the sore areas. (she is not taking medication that causes her to bruise easily).
For the first two weeks I voiced my concerns but no improvement, just continued new and fresh bruising appearing overnight, in areas that are not involved in manual handling. (She is actually able to transfer without physical handling).
She also became very ‘guarded’, uncooperative, almost frightened of some staff, which staff should have recognised as a strong concern, because this is totally out of character.
After two weeks I escalated the complaint. Senior ward staff became hostile, including asking me to leave the ward when they noticed the other patients calling me over to tell me about their disgust in how my wife was “treated inhumanely”.
So for another two weeks, still no improvement, just the continued bruising and the poor personal care.
Cheltenham General Hospital legal team refused access to medical records, even a refusal suggesting that there isn’t a marriage, which is total and utter nonsense.
Luckily she’s home now, and healing, but the result is that the hospital legal department has made an application to court of protection to remove LPA, saying that she doesn’t have the capacity for me to act in her best interest, and also to prevent access to medical records. This is the whole reason that I have LPA.
I have previously been told by GCC local authority social services that should LPA be revoked, she will be moved into a care home. This will be a home for dementia patients and that the only homes available are for over 65’s.
