Peabody Housing Association must surely be one of the worst crappiest housing providers in UK. Named and shamed with pictures !!

Mohammed had complained MULTIPLE times about a broken window frame in his 3rd floor flat. He was ignored until a sheet of glass fell from narrowly missing Mohammed and his dad (Abdul) as they were entering the building.
Was it Peabody Construction Ltd who were supposed to do the repair? (Peabody have multiple companies registered with the same directors as the housing association).

Can you actually believe that these bunch of cowboys have supportive housing for young people?? My God – They are utterly crap !! I searched for other posts about this housing ‘provider’ and the amount of crap their tenants suffer is disgusting.
Many social media posts relating to states of disrepair – leaks, mould, access, you name it.. People should not be subjected to incompetence!!

Peabody issued a pathetic statement:
“On Monday (3 October 2021) a window fell from one of our low-rise buildings in Hackney, narrowly missing someone entering the building.
This was a serious incident which should not have happened. The footage of the incident is very distressing and we are relieved and thankful that no-one was hurt. We have launched a full investigation into this with our contractor who was managing the repair on our behalf. Repairs flagged as an emergency are always dealt with on the same day and we need to establish why this particular repair was not considered to be an emergency at any point.
Our teams are supporting residents, and we have notified the relevant authorities about the incident. We understand people will be concerned and will want detailed answers from us which we’ll be able to do following a full review of all of the circumstances. We have visited our residents in the block and apologised and will take all necessary steps to make sure this doesn’t happen again”.

Our efforts aim to deter poor provision of care and lead to more impactful results for the entire community. Support Services: Beyond raising awareness and exposure of poor practises, we offer a completely free service of advice, referrals, emotional and practical support (including face-to-face assistance), mediation, and representation.
